Light wind conditions keep five classes ashore |

Medemblik, The Netherlands - On the fourth day of the SPA Regatta six classes
completed one or two races. The Star and Yngling competed twice. Light wind
conditions, sometimes only two knots, forced the race committee to postpone
and cancel the races in the Tornado, Laser, Finn, Mistral Men and Women. |

Great Britain in the lead of five classes |

After three days of racing, it is Great Britain
that leads in five classes, namely Finn, 49-er, Star, Tornado and Yngling.
France is second country with leading positions in the 470 Men and Mistral
Women. In the 470 the Dutch female team De Koning/Berkhout took over the
lead, whereas the Dutch male team Coster/Coster dropped to the second place
overall. |

Changing classifications under perfect conditions at day 2 of Spa Regatta |

Today’s sailing conditions were close to perfect
with 12 to 17 knots wind. The top three of the Tornado and Finn
classifications have changed today. The British team Mcmillan/Bulkeley and
the Frenchmen Backes/Voiron entered the top three in the Tornado and World
Champion in the Finn, Ben Ainslie, climbed up to first position overall. |
